"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20
The educational task of the church is to teach its membership the theological underpinnings of a faith that made real the hope of the Christian gospel for people. Christian Education is essential to the growth and the development of the members of any congregation. We are charged with the awesome responsibility of explaining the blueprint that Christ has provided for us to those new to the faith and to those continuing, as we are, on the path of a life built with Christ as its foundation and center. Lora-Ellen McKinney writes, "Christian education is, above all else, a process that helps a community of believers understand theology, learn Christian history, reinforce personal decisions to live for Christ, and make commitments to the internal and outreach ministries of the local church".
Associated Ministries
Spiritually, this ministry will seek to promote a relationship with Jesus Christ through opportunities such as seminars, bible study, prayer meetings, etc. Physically, it will address issues of health and wellness. Also, various activities will be planned to promote Christian fellowship.
